Battlefield 2042 DirectX "GetDeviceRemovedReason"

The first time I encountered this error was when I started playing this game, it was the beginning of the 6th season. And this error crashed so randomly that it made me delete the game from my computer after a month of suffering.

Actually, it was quite an unpleasant decision, because I quite liked the game itself, but playing with constant tension and random crashes was not enjoyable.

I tried almost everything advised on the internet - updating video card drivers, updating / reinstalling Windows drivers, updating DirectX, fixing .NET packages, reinstalling the game on different drives, launching through Epic or directly from EA. Clean installation of video card drivers. None of this helped, but I found one piece of advice, which at first glance didn't seem very related to this error.

I learned that the game crashes very often on more powerful systems, one of the suggestions was to lower the frequencies of the video card itself (in my case it's RTX 3080), but I didn't want to do that just for one game.

But what specifically helped in my case may help in yours as well.

What helped me was to go into the BIOS and disable the XMP profile of the RAM, so that it started working at the standard frequency and voila, my suffering ended, no crashes since then.

So I hope this helps and saves you a lot of time and nerves!
